This is really a great guide! Well done! (WT-en) Majnoona

Thanks Maj! There's still more to come (but I'm taking it slowly). I wondered if I shouldn't have used a template similar to the existing city/region/country templates. "Before you go" could become "Prepare" and "The trip" could become "Drive" or something similar. I'm also thinking of including a short description on how to get to Wiluna and Yulara in a "Get there" section. More ideas? By the way, maybe I can help to expand the Project:Itinerary article template. (WT-en) D.D. 12:34, 7 Sep 2003 (PDT)
All this sounds grand! I think all of this could go into theProject:Itinerary article template. I like the idea of a "Prepare" section, it would really change the itineraries from just lists of places to more complete guides. This is exactly the sort of stuff I like to see when planning a trip. Go ahead and plunge forward! (WT-en) Majnoona

G'day Maj

Well prepared trip info.

One small error I noted. For the

Gunbarrel Highway distance table

the column titles are the wrong way about

East to West Place West to East

should be

West to East Place East to West

Wiluna is in the west and Yulara in the east

Regards

Hi John! Feel free to plunge forward and edit the article! (WT-en) Majnoona 13:47, 9 Feb 2006 (EST)

Sources[edit]

Sources should be provided for contact phone numbers and safety information. It's life and death if that information is wrong. For example, sources should be given for the maximum distance between fuel. It could be disastrous if someone incorrectly reduced the numbers and a reader trusted them. 220.233.191.2 00:10, 4 August 2007 (EDT)

How would having a source stop somebody from incorrectly reducing the numbers? As everything on Wikivoyage, information is provided as is and it's the traveller's responsibility to decide how much to trust it. (WT-en) Jpatokal 01:28, 4 August 2007 (EDT)
