My wife's relatives came from Mousehole and I would like to plan a trip to the Isles from the US. What would be your best advice as to time of year and transportation?

If you have not already been advised, I suggest that you take a train from London Paddington station to Penzance from where you could hire a car to tour the local area including Mousehole. Then use the helicopter service from Penzance to travel to the Isles of Scilly (St. Mary's). If you intend to stay for a while book accommodation well in advance. Spring/Summer is probably the best time to visit. Your travel agent should have access to all the information required to arrange your visit.

Individual islands[edit]

By having this as one article for all of the islands, I'm struggling with where to put a general description of seeing and doing each of the off islands. Where's best for an introduction on each? -- (WT-en) Andyfarrell 04:28, 5 June 2010 (EDT)

I'd say See, like I did on the Sydfynske Øhav, but I don't think we have an established standard. --(WT-en) Stefan (sertmann) talk 05:20, 5 June 2010 (EDT)
Agreed. And it seems to work nicely. I am very happy to see this article progressing so well from the weak outline that it was a week ago. --(WT-en) Burmesedays 08:09, 5 June 2010 (EDT)
