region vs city

I only made this a city page, even though Kashmir and Ladakh have region pages, because nobody really travels much here and the few sights of interest could easily be listed in the "Get out" section of Jammu city... (WT-en) Cacahuate 07:07, 11 November 2006 (EST)

That section used to be called "Get out" years ago. Parenthetically, you won't get a response from any user with a name that starts with "(WT-en)" because that code was added to legacy users from Wikitravel whose accounts weren't merged with new Wikivoyage accounts after the fork (see Wikivoyage and Wikitravel for background). User:Cacahuate did edit Wikivoyage, too, but hasn't edited since 2016. I hope they're well and having a happy life! Ikan Kekek (talk) 16:06, 6 November 2023 (UTC)

Staying safe?

In my opinion, due to conflict around this area, a stay safe section should be added. I will not do this myself as I am not even close to local, but it should be considered. —The preceding comment was added by DoggsWiki (talk • contribs)

This article is about Jammu city. There are some remarks in Jammu Division#Stay safe. If there should be specific warnings for the city, please go ahead and add them. Someone else with more on-the-ground knowledge can always edit your warnings, but we can't assume that such a person is more likely to read this talk page and post some information than that no such person makes any edits for years.
