I noticed a small error in regards to Upjohn/Pharmacia's status. While the full story is more complicated, Pharmacia did not buy out Upjohn, they merged, and the resulting merger actually resulted in a jointly named company headquartered in Kalamazoo. Upon the purchase of Monsanto, the company changed its name completely to Pharmacia. It wasn't until the Pfizer buy-out that the company was no longer headquartered in Kalamazoo.

Please Project:Plunge forward and edit the guide! Thanks (WT-en) Majnoona 17:11, 2 July 2006 (EDT)

Wikivoyage style

[edit]

Wikivoyage has a style guide that articles should follow. This makes it easier for readers to find information in articles, and presents a more consistent look for Wikivoyage. Amongst other things:

  1. Wikivoyage does not allow touting -- see wv:tout.
  2. Wikivoyage does not generally use in-line links to Wikipedia. See WV:wp.
  3. For U.S. articles, the format we use for times is 9AM-noon, 6PM-midnight. For days of the week, we use these standard abbreviations: M Tu W Th F Sa Su. See wv:time.
  4. For phone numbers in the U.S., we use this format: +1 269-388-3668. When used in a template, readers on a mobile device can dial directly from the article. See wv:phone.
