New page on the Alpi Di Siusi - whats the best approach?

[edit]
Swept in from the pub

I added a new page for Kastelruth, and I'd really like to add more on the hiking that's available in the neighbourhood, but that really belongs on a page for the Alpi Di Siusi / Seiser Alm. No such page exists, but the german version of WV does have a page for it. I looked at the google translate version of this, which is good enough to convey the gist of it. However, there are many words or phrases where I know that the translation is incorrect, but don't know what it should be. I'm loath to cut out everything like this because it can mess up the structure of the page and there will definitely be information loss while transferring the content over to English. But unless a German speaker helps out, I don't see an alternative. (a) can a german speaker help out with this translation? (b) is there a better way to handle such translations? Additional question: whats the best page template for such pages. This would be a region of interest that comprises more than one towns and places of interest. However, its smaller than the South Tyrol region (within which it is) which is considered to be the region as per the categorization that exists for Kastelruth. There is the Park article template, which might be the best. From the hierarchy point of view it will be more or less an "extra region", so you avoid splitting up the ordinary region/destination hierarchy, and if hiking and the like is what you do here, I think the park template fits quite well. --LPfi (talk) 17:07, 10 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
I agree, Park article would work. Alternatively, you could also add it as a Nearby section to the Kastelruth page, but then I guess we would have to cut down a lot of content. I don't think it has to be an extraregion, as I understand it, it would fit entirely within the next bigger South Tyrol region.
I'm a German speaker, so if you need some assistance, I can help, although translating the whole article is probably too much work. We also have to consider that we'll have to reshuffle a lot of the sections because the article structure seems to be quite different over there. Anyway, if you end up creating an article for that, do ping me on the talk page there or something and I'll come and try to help out with the translation. Drat70 (talk) 06:14, 11 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
