Who administers Kirkuk?

We currently have conflicting information in the article. Preexisting information stated that the Kurdistan Regional Government administered it, but a user recently posted that it does not. We need to resolve the dispute and delete whichever information is incorrect. Ikan Kekek (talk) 18:28, 12 March 2014 (UTC)

Over a year later, no-one has made any comment or taken any action. It seems like the Kurdistan Regional Government does administer Kirkuk, though I'm not positive of that. If my edit is incorrect, please explain here. Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:28, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

It was occupied by Kurdistan from 2014 to 18 till Iraqi forces retook it. Kirkukturk3 (talk) 16:15, 23 June 2024 (UTC)
