This doesn't seem to me to be clearly within the criteria at [[external links#what not to link to], but just in case it's useful:

Way too many images![edit]

On my screen, I count 4 thumbnails that are entirely below the end of the article. Moreover, having an unbroken stream of images forming a column along the right side is really not Wikivoyage style, as per Wikivoyage:Image policy#Minimal use of images. Can we please pick at most 9-10 images that are most important? Let's please remember that there's a Commons link for anyone who wants to see loads and loads of photos, and that the idea of using Commons thumbnails here is to give readers a taste of what they can get more of when they visit, not to exhaustively document a city.

I would solicit the input of User:Barbkami and User:KiryuFan in particular, since they clearly know Kiryu and have contributed most to this guide. Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:14, 18 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the information. I have deleted the bulk of the photos and will be cautious in the future. Kiryu is actually a great place for hiking and have a lot of information about hiking trails that I would like to include on the page. Any suggestions for doing that?Barbkami (talk) 23:21, 18 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
By all means, add information on hiking trails! That would go in "Do". You could cover each hiking trail in a separate listing if you have enough information for that, or if not, you could provide an overview, or something in between. If the article gets longer, more of the photos can be reinserted into it. It's good to have a photo in every screen or so, more or less. Ikan Kekek (talk) 23:42, 18 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
