Monterey Bay Union[edit]
Another thing that I would like to see added is Cardinale Stadium, located near the CUSMB campus. It is the home stadium of the Monterey Bay Union, the official county soccer team. As a resident of Marina, I usually go to these weekly games (If they are held in Cardinale Stadium,) and although this is more of a local thing, and most people using WikiVoyage will probably be tourists, I still reccomend booking tickets for a Union Game. The Monterey Bay Football Club (MBFC) has an amazing community that is very inclusive and kind. I think it would be a good idea to give this gem of the Monterey County to any visitors to the wonderful city of Marina. Thinking as a tourist, I can imagine stopping by for a game, or if it was a long-term stay (perhaps weeks or months or even a year,) purchasing merchandise from the shop and becoming immersed in the MBFC community.
