Some of Canada's most densely populated residential neighbourhoods can be found right in the heart of the city, on the leafy and colourful Plateau Mont-Royal. The now infamous 'Horse To Water' (H2W) postal district is officially the most creative place in Canada, with 8% of the population deriving their primary income from artistic or creative work. These are the neighbourhoods where it can be the most rewarding to get lost on foot: in addition to the quiet tree-lined streets with their distinctive outside staircases, almost every block has a 'secret' inner street (or 'ruelle') which runs between the gardens and houses of the two adjacent streets. These ruelles are where Montrealers fix their cars, let their children play outside or walk their dogs. On a hot summer's afternoon, there can be few places as tranquil and relaxing to explore on foot in this city.

Byblos

I don't get why Byblos is considered such as great restaurant. Inside it's beautiful and the owners are very friendly. The special stew they serve Sunday evenings is a treat. But in general their food is not that good - the hummous is watery, the fish takes like meat (because it's not cooked separately) and so on, and everyone I know who's been there agrees.
