This is a note for anyone considering creating an article on Mount Laojun: Foreigners are strictly prohibited from visiting the mountain due to the nearby military base. Any foreigner found in the area will be asked to leave immediately. STW932 (talk) 08:58, 11 September 2023 (UTC)

If it's a place of domestic tourism, it could still be a legitimate topic for an article, though, if there's enough potential content (see Wikivoyage:What is an article for guidelines), and one never knows whether this prohibition might change someday in the more or less distant future.
