Preserved seed café

[edit]

Note for future editing: Just visited the Preserved Seed cafe. It is now called the Yellow Deli. Web site is maybe yellowdeli.CA, or maybe something related to "12 Tribes". Address, phone number, basic food store appear unchanged. JimDeLaHunt (talk) 19:43, 28 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Made changes. Don't know why you didn't make them yourself.Cpfan776 (talk) 01:35, 29 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
I really think we shouldn't be listing this particular chain, because of this sort of weirdness: K7L (talk) 02:31, 29 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for these links. I didn't know about the "Twelve Tribes" group. Based on the fact that a person at the Yellow Deli in Nelson mentioned "Twelve Tribes", and that the twelvetribes.com website mentions Yellow Deli restaurants, I believe the connection is correct. I don't know how to make the Traveller Come First in this situation. JimDeLaHunt (talk) 08:58, 29 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure we have a clear policy on how to address conditions (such as workers in perpetual poverty) which may harm someone other than the traveller. Wikivoyage:Avoid negative reviews allows most listings to be simply removed if we're not actually prepared to recommend the voyager visit some particular venue; I believe it would apply here. Thanks for making the edits. I jotted notes in the Discussion because I was on a mobile device and in a hurry. I find it hard to edit a proper listing entity on a mobile device without taking a long time to get the details right. JimDeLaHunt (talk)
