Bucovina

w:Bukovina is a historical region now lying between Ukraine and Romania. What I guess you term 'North Bukovia' does appear to be in our region of Western Ukraine. --Andrewssi2 (talk) 10:40, 22 September 2015 (UTC)

Although I can read German, I'm not sure we should be discussing this non-German subject in that language :)

Anyway, I think this is straightforward. Romanian Wikivoyage has a lot more Ukrainian content than we do and can afford to split up into more regions. Not really anything we need to change here. --Andrewssi2 (talk) 12:17, 22 September 2015 (UTC)

Ich figured the person wasn't sehr profizient in Englisch and wanted to behilflich sein. :D

Anyways, the person apparently was unfamiliar on how redirects work here on WV. They for some reason thought redirects are used only for different names of the same area and as a consequence thought it'd would be wrong to redirect Northern Bukovina to Western Ukraine (as the former just comprises a fraction of the latter). Don't be so sure of that. Baican has a track record of getting himself blocked in every major project, mainly because he insists on promoting his own point of view regardless of community consensus. He also never responds in English. --Robbie SWE (talk) 18:35, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
