Alternative banner[edit]

Neither very characteristic for Oostende (unless you focus really hard, it is not easy to see how this is different from any other city with a waterfront), nor actually very good composition or visually attractive, I am afraid. Thermae Palace and the Koninklijke Ganderijen are the ultimate symbols of Oostende to me, and they are fortunately very well suited to be displayed in 7:1. There are other Dutch and Belgian cities who could use a new banner, especially much of Wallonia. PrinceGloria (talk) 04:22, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
