Talk:Podgorica
Add topicTaxis
[edit]The statement about taxis is not true. Podgorica has an amazing taxi service (better than any major city in the world). Usually, the cabs show up 2 minutes after you call them and you can get from one end of the city to the other for about 2 Euro.
- I, on the other hand, am dissatisfied with the statement: Probably the best option to move around Podgorica are cheap and reliable taxi service.
- Many travel guides point out that in Montenegro you generally shouldn't just hop in and off in a cab, but that you should haggle out a maximum price beforehand. Which could be difficult if your Montenegrin is a little rusty. Maikel (talk) 16:11, 4 September 2016 (UTC)
Stay safe
[edit]There is no Stay Safe section... Is there anything worth worring about, besides the same thing as in all big cities? --(WT-en) Gungner 20:52, 16 May 2007 (EDT)
Added some things concerning the Trg Republike (see), the problem of the taxi meters and Cetinje (Get out). But there must be some grammar mistakes because I am French and I am not used to write English touristic vocabulary. If someone could correct my mistakes...
- Pas de problème, thanks for your edits! (WT-en) Jpatokal 23:44, 28 April 2009 (EDT)
Usable?
[edit]This article is at least close to usable. A dynamic map and some Mosing would help. Maybe it's best to concentrate on making it a Guide, with Usable status attained en route. In that case, more prices in listings would be helpful. Ikan Kekek (talk) 16:55, 20 December 2013 (UTC)
Abandoned prison
[edit]Could someone please tell me something about the abandoned prison right next to the train station? What was it used for and when, and when was it abandoned? Thanks, Maikel (talk) 15:58, 4 September 2016 (UTC)
Counterfeit brands
[edit]I spent a few days in the city and didn't come across any. I think it's not a problem anymore. So I've removed the respective warnings. Maikel (talk) 16:24, 4 September 2016 (UTC)
