Talk:Queens/Flushing-Northeast
I'm using this page as a holding place for this entry, until it becomes clear what their new address will be. They are no longer at the address shown below:
Unique Pastry, 135-23 40th Road (between Main and Prince Sts., one block south of Roosevelt Av.), (718) 888-7790, serves Fuzhounese sesame buns, both sweet and savory, for $2 and less apiece, mostly for takeout, and also makes good noodle soups and such. This is a fine place to get a good, inexpensive breakfast or lunch. By dinner time, they are likely to be out of their most popular buns. Their eat-in operation is currently temporarily suspended, but their takeout operation continues as usual.

Relative Size of Chinatowns
[edit]I also posted about this on the "Talk" page of the Queens article. I would like to read the argument on Manhattan's Chinatown being bigger than Flushing. I don't know on what basis that argument can be made - conceivably (though I think this is doubtful) in population, but I would think definitely not in area. I will check the Wikipedia articles, but I'll note that Wikipedia can be out of date or inaccurate. (WT-en) Ikan Kekek 03:32, 12 March 2010 (EST)
Names of the neighborhoods covered by this article
[edit]We should name and describe them all. They include Flushing, College Point, Bayside, Little Neck, and what else? Ikan Kekek (talk) 12:01, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
Restaurant update
[edit]Most New Yorkers who live some distance from Flushing go there mostly for food (that is, when they're not going to Mets games, but that's a different part of Flushing). I haven't been to Flushing in some time, but I know the "Eat" section needs major updates and additions. If you know something about the current restaurant scene in the neighborhood, please update!
