Carved gorilla[edit]

The implication of this edit is that pre-Columbian people made a carving depicting a gorilla. That wouldn't be possible, since gorillas don't live in the Americas, only in Africa. So could User:92.30.107.26 or anyone else please clarify whether the carving is really of a New World monkey or other native fauna or is post-Columbian?
