Visa for Sarawak?[edit]

I'm planning to visit Sarawak in few days so I thought of consulting this guide. I'm amazed to see the line under Get in section that "If you do need an advance visa for Malaysia, you'll need one specifically for Sarawak." I wonder if it is correct? I've yet to check with Malaysia mission in Pakistan.--Saqib (talk) 14:36, 19 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Malaysia article says the same. According to a discussion on TripAdvisor an additional visa isn't necessary if you have a visa for Malaysia. Also, most countries' visa applications require you to fill in which cities you are going to visit. If they know you're going to Sarawak and have issued a visa, you should be able to use it. But I would definitely ask the Malaysian embassy or immigration authorities just to be sure. ϒpsilon (talk) 16:00, 19 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. No specific visa required for Sarawak and Sabah but yes, both states has autonomous law in immigration so there's passport control between East and West Malaysia. Have made changes accordingly. --Saqib (talk) 17:01, 23 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
