Status[edit]

This article is an orphan page and may not be an article in its current form. When I search for Stephen, Michigan I do not get any results for a town. So it is either too small to have a website, or be mentioned on one, or else does not exist.

According to Wikipedia, there is a Stephen in Minnesota, and Mississippi; Stephens in Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, and Virginia and a Stephenson in Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Looks like this is a candidate for a disambiguation page. -- (WT-en) Huttite 04:41, 10 Jan 2006 (EST)

vfd discussion[edit]

  • Stephen. A one line description, calling a "small town in Michigan," except that I can't find it on a map or any other information on the web. Its also an orphan. Unless someone can find more about this place, then I think it should be ditched. -- (WT-en) Ilkirk 13:56, 19 Jan 2006 (EST)
    • Keep. According to WikiPedia:Stephen, there's a Stephen (Minnesota) and a Stephen (Mississippi). There's also a Stephenson and a Stephenville in Michigan, which might explain what the contributor was trying to say. Regardless, this page would make a fine disambiguation page for the two other Stephen's. --(WT-en) Evan 14:56, 19 Jan 2006 (EST)
    • Keep. I have been watching and thinking about this page and have already opended a discussion that says what is said above. Let it be until somebody has time to put some regional pages around it. There is no point in deleting a page just because it is a one line entry that is vague. And it is no longer an orphan, because it is listed here (that is why I did not link it from the talk page, to stop it being a walled garden). -- (WT-en) Huttite 19:24, 19 Jan 2006 (EST)
