This was in the "Connect" section, which is supposed to be about Wi-Fi and cell phone connectivity and the like:

Some of the best way to connect with people is to try to start up a conversation with them in places like the gym, bars, or in clothing stores. People in Taizhou are still not used to foreigners and will treat foreigners in a very friendly way.

Try not to be put off by strange fascination, as most people have the best intentions.

The local dialect is "Taizhouhua", people will be amazed if you can speak a few words such as "ma-da-ming"- which roughly translates to "oh my god"
