What does this mean?

[edit]

I moved this from the article because I can't make sense out of it:

"The location is also favourable for pre-wedding photo and should pay Rp 750,000, photo modelling should pay Rp 200,000 and tourist with DSLR should pay Rp 50,000."

First of all, "should pay" is ambiguous. I assume these are obligatory fees, not optional donations. But which charges are for precisely what? Ikan Kekek (talk) 19:17, 16 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it are mandatory fees and tourists or not have to pay the amount above precisely.Gsarwa (talk) 03:27, 17 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
But which fees are for what? The sentence does not parse. Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:42, 17 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
Sukasada Park is belong to Banjar Sukasada and they have decided to charge who take pre-wedding photos or modelling with the amount above, but nowadays they charge also to whom carry DSLR. The kind of policy is not new, because in Kawah Putih in West Java, Perhutani is also charge who take pre-wedding photos, similar in Kebon Raya Bogor. Some local tourists sometimes cancel their itiniery due to high entrance fee and high fee for carrying DSLR in both sites. Some sites in Indonesia may be is not convinience anymore for local/domestic tourists, but may be not for foreign tourits, although for local/domestic tourists sometimes the entrance fee is cheaper than for foreign tourists. The facilities may be better with high entrance fee, but local/domestic tourists are still feel that the entrance fee may be too high and local/domestic tourists frequently do not need many/(too) good facilities.Gsarwa (talk) 14:15, 17 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
There are 3 different fees in that sentence. I'm still not understanding what each one is for. Ikan Kekek (talk) 18:12, 17 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
I think I understand the situation. Firstly, the place is beautiful and a lot of people like to take photos of it. Secondly, some people (apparently real park officials... or is it just some sort of con-men?) want to charge you if you take photos or even walk around with a camera. If they see you walking around with a professional-looking camera, they demand Rp 50,000. If you take photos of someone so that it looks like it's for a fashion magazine, they demand Rp 200,000. And if you're taking a photo of a couple in wedding dresses in the park/site, they want you to hand over Rp 750,000. ϒpsilon (talk) 18:39, 17 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
Yes, that makes sense. So back to you, Gsarwa. Are these official fees? Who does a tourist pay? Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:06, 17 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
I have rewritten my contribution. Bali people with Hinduism are honest enough, although may be not as two or three decades ago, due to commercial manners or may be too commercial. For who want to take pre-wedding photo with free, I see a location behind Nikko Hotel in Nusa Dua is sometimes used to take pre-wedding photo with free, because it is a public area. There are a narrow coarse (only a lane) road besides Nikko Hotel to the beach and using motorcycle is suggested, because there are only very limited parking area. The beach is mix between calm wave and high wave in the different sites of the area. Very limited visitors, but relatively safe, there are no facilities at all, just take photos, but just so so view. The other area to take pre-wedding photo is in Dream Land, Pecatu, but I don't know about the fee, but many packages offering for it.Gsarwa (talk) 15:45, 18 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
