I couldn't find any data or reference to this place other than mirrors of WT. (WT-en) Gorilla Jones 00:34, 11 August 2009 (EDT)

  • <drink name="Bridge Club" alt="" address="" directions="" phone="" email="" fax="" url="" hours="" price=""> This dance club is located in a warehouse district west of the river and is infamously hard to find the first time, so you should take a taxi. The club doesn't always have regular events, so you should check first at Luz for flyers of any upcoming events.</drink>
It was me that put this in originally. I lived in Tottori for a year but that's been quite a while back. I have no idea if this place is still in existence, but even if it is, I wouldn't be too surprised if there were never any online presence. (WT-en) Texugo 00:51, 11 August 2009 (EDT)

I had the wrong data for this one — correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't find it in any of the local directories. (WT-en) Gorilla Jones 14:24, 22 August 2009 (EDT)

  • <drink name="DD" alt="" address="" directions="" phone="" email="" fax="" url="" hours="" price=""> This spacious ground floor pub across from Goldrush is very foreigner-friendly.</drink>
You're right. I just phoned that Koyama location and found out it is a karaoke/game center unrelated to the former downtown bar. (WT-en) Texugo 21:48, 22 August 2009 (EDT)

Temporarily closed[edit]

The website says it will re-open in January 2010. (WT-en) Gorilla Jones 20:24, 11 August 2009 (EDT)

Do, sand dunes: not clear[edit]

I am trying to translate the page and I cannot understand the following statement: "Pay close attention to operating days/seasons and make reservations before getting your heart set on a specific activity, though". I don't understand how one could make a reservation before choosing a specific activity. The previous version was more clear: "For sports activities, pay close attention to operating days/seasons and make your reservation". — Fabimaru (talk) 16:12, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It means if there is an activity that you are particularly keen on partaking in, make sure that it is offered during the season/day(s) of your visit and that you make a reservation beforehand (if one is required). ChubbyWimbus (talk) 14:02, 18 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I supposed it had to be that (that's logical), but even now when I re-read these words I understand the opposite. But that's not a problem for my translation :-) — Fabimaru (talk) 17:37, 18 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Featured article?[edit]

Shall this article be featured as Off the Beaten Path? Or is it significant enough to make Destination of the Month? /Yvwv (talk) 20:48, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • It could go either way. It's a prefectural capital with its sand dunes being nationally famous. On the other hand, for foreign visitors, it is not on the top of their itineraries, especially for first-time visitors to Japan. ChubbyWimbus (talk) 04:36, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
