Regarding island ferries, I had put them under "get in" under the assumption that some people might go to the islands first, then go to TC... but if that's silly, then taking them off is fine :) -- (WT-en) Haem85 20:49, 17 July 2006 (EDT)

I don't think anyone's going to find themselves on South Manitou and wonder how to get to the mainland. They either got there on their own boat, or they bought a round-trip ticket in Leland from Manitou Island Transit (so they know where Leland is, and probably drove through TC to get there). Beaver Island's not as cut-and-dried (you could take a plane there, and a ferry back), but it's still a there-and-back side trip from Charlevoix, not a real way-point en route to TC. I don't think we can anticipate every possible "Get in" scenario... just tell people what highways to look for, or which planes/boats/trains offer direct service. By the way: Any particular reason for the indented bullets (:*) instead of regular ones (*)? -(WT-en) Todd VerBeek
Yeah, that logic makes perfect sense. I'm with ya. As for the indented bullets: improved readability. :) -- (WT-en) Haem85 13:44, 18 July 2006 (EDT)

Snowmobile link to Adventure Rentals is a dead link- Adventure is out of business. There are only 2 companies offering snowmobile rentals in Traverse City: Blue Sky Rentals (http://www.bluesky-tvc.com/indexWinter.htm) and Snowblitz (http://www.snowblitz.com).

Dill's Olde Towne Saloon should also be removed- they closed long ago. Blue Tractor Cook Shop (http://www.bluetractorcookshop.com/) is now located there.

You are more than welcome to plunge forward and make those changes. This wiki is open to all --(WT-en) Nick 08:06, 19 April 2008 (EDT)
