Talk:Tuttle (Oklahoma)
The page for User:(WT-en) Tiger Safari says pretty much the same as this page and was very similar to Tuttle Oklahoma too. However, what is written here is a plug for Tiger Safari, an attraction listed in the Frontier Country article. Some serious editing is required to prevent the article about Tuttle (Oklahoma) being dominated by an article about Tiger Safari. I am yet to be persuaded that an article for Tiger Safari is needed, but unless Tuttle (Oklahoma) is edited, that is what we have.
An article about Tuttle (Oklahoma) should tell me:
- What Tuttle is. (The article does not even mention the place.)
- Where Tuttle is and where Tiger Safari is in relation to down town Tuttle.
- Can I eat, drink or sleep there, and if so where is it safe to stay, so that I don't get eaten by wild tigers.
- How far Tuttle is from somewhere else, as a distance, not a time.
The current version of the article says it is 20 minutes from Oklahoma city, 20 minutes what? this may vary by transport mode: flight, train journey, drive, bus ride, bike ride, walk, jog, run, sprint, crawl, swim? Distance is not measured by time, though time and speed lets me compute distance, assuming there isn't a traffic jam.
Aside from that in its current state the article is an advertisement, not an article and is a candidate I might consider for deletion, if it cannot be improved. -- (WT-en) Huttite 07:55, 13 January 2009 (EST)
- I have copyedited the article to make it factual and remove advertising hype. Also added a city template - now an outline article. -- (WT-en) Huttite 05:43, 17 January 2009 (EST)
