End of the age of discovery?

He lived 1865–1952. In the Age of Discovery the period is defined as 15th century to the late 18th. Late 18th century ends with 1799, 65 years before he was born. So, I think different wording is needed here. FredTC (talk) 13:11, 8 February 2023 (UTC)

It seems hard to find a settled end year of the Age of Discovery. The article should build on the point that Hedin's exhibitions were among the last to chart new territories on the Western world map. /Yvwv (talk) 17:56, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
