This is a great article, but I have a couple of questions (sorry if I've somehow missed previous conversations about this elsewhere). I'm not sure I like the table at the bottom -- why not use the Project:Related articles? I also have concerns about the markup around the bus numbers and stuff -- I think it looks good, but both of these things raise the technology threshhold on the page significantly. There are going to be plenty of users who will be scared off from updating these areas. Comments? (WT-en) Maj 16:40, 22 August 2006 (EDT)
- I used Project:Related articles at Warsaw/Bemowo for a similar purpose but, as I was told, it is wrong. However, I think what counts is that
- the linkboxes are more intuitive than related links and
- the markup around bus numbers increases readability and prints well and gracefully degrades too
- The implementation indeed involves some clutter in the page source but it could be quite easily better done with:
- a template for an inline box with a given border, background and text colors (the bus numbers)
- an ability to transclude pages (the linkbox)
- So the question to you is: do you dislike the implementation or the very idea of it?

- Well, maybe I'm reading it wrong, but I think he says "they should be used for loose relationships, so a link to a travel topic or an itinerary would be fine," so this would probably fall under that.
- In regards to the bigger issue of linkboxes and bus markup, I think it's some interesting ideas that need to be discussed and, if agreed on, generalized into our Project:Itinerary article template. The we can go ahead and create templates, etc, to support usability.
