Hmm, dunno if this is an article. Is this really along the lines of Route 66 or something or just a road? If it's a road, it needs to be moved to a destination page. (WT-en) Majnoona 23:00, 12 Apr 2004 (EDT)

It appears to be a trail http://www.west-highland-way.co.uk along the lines of the Appalacian Trail or Pacific Crest Trail. Would this be a route? -- (WT-en) Colin 23:51, 12 Apr 2004 (EDT)

West Highland Way is an old traditional route up the West coast of Scotland. It is a walking trail that runs from Glasgow to Fort William past some amazing scenery.

Ah! Thanks, that sounds great. We might want to make that more clear in the article, I thought it was a freeway ;-P. Thanks for the contribution. FYI: you might want to get a user account so you can sign your messages here and have your own talk page. But you don't have to... thanks again (WT-en) Majnoona 01:40, 13 Apr 2004 (EDT)
This appears to be written as "West Highland Way" on the website. "West-Highland-Way" is only used for the URL. So, I'm goin to move this article. (WT-en) Akubra 16:22, 17 Apr 2004 (EDT)

This page is a mess, treating waypoints and different types of accommodation separately. I'm going to integrate them, though the page may look worse till it's done. See Great Glen Way for what the end product might look like. Grahamsands (talk) 18:31, 22 October 2023 (UTC) Yes Done 23 OctReply

Thanks, but please could you use listings rather than markers for the points on the route - it is then easier to add edit without opening the complete section, and the edit link may encourage walkers to contribute. AlasdairW (talk) 18:28, 23 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
