Consensus to keep?
[edit]So are we keeping this template? If so, we need to create the maintenance category it uses. If not, we need to delete it. It seems useful to me. What does everyone else think? Texugo (talk) 22:26, 10 October 2013 (UTC)
- Nobody has answered, so I will go ahead and remove the experimental tag and create the category. Texugo (talk) 12:59, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
- I would say this template should be deleted. It was useful in migration days but now I don't see a good reason to keep it. --Saqib (talk) 13:03, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
- Wait. Didn't you use it just now? That's why it came to my attention again. How can we be sure there aren't other images that need the same treatment? Texugo (talk) 13:15, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
- Since there are 4 files in Category:Copy to Wikimedia Commons, this template seems to continue to have a use, and it's good that it wasn't deleted. I don't understand Saqib's thinking here. Care to clarify, Saqib? Ikan Kekek (talk) 14:24, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
- Texugo, I used it because I thought maybe it will automatically or a bot will move the file to Commons. We don't have much local files and majority are main page banners so if we found a file in future that should be moved to Commons, I think the best will be do it right away rather than adding this template and then wait for someone else to move it. Adding a template to a file takes few seconds but moving a file to Commons takes not more than a minute. --Saqib (talk) 14:36, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
- Ikan, and be sure there's nothing wrong with my thinking. LOL. I only expressed my opinion to delete it because Texugo asked. If I had nominated it for deletion then you can question my thinking. --Saqib (talk) 15:20, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
- There may be a bit of a language barrier here. I'm not suggesting there's something wrong with your thinking, merely that I didn't understand it. Ikan Kekek (talk) 15:58, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

So, again. Can we remove the experimental tag from this now? Texugo (talk) 14:52, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
- Yes. --118.93nzp (talk) 01:37, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
- Done. Texugo (talk) 14:21, 25 February 2014 (UTC)
