Redundant?

Special:ComparePages suggest that the Unsigned_IP template removes the link to the anon's userpage, but otherwise is completely redundant in terms of code. I'll nominate it at Wikivoyage:Votes for deletion shortly. TeleComNasSprVen (talk) 06:44, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
