Timor

Timor is an elongated island in the Indonesian archipelago, to the north of Australia. The island is divided into two separate territories:

Timor-Leste, an independent republic since 2002
West Timor, part of the Indonesian province of Nusa Tenggara Timur (East Nusa Tenggara)
