Trentino Province is in Italy.

Other destinations[edit]

  • 1 Fassa Valley (Val di Fassa) – known for its winter sports, and superb hiking

Naturally, Italian is widely spoken. However, the alternate name for this region, Südtirol, might tip you off to an interesting truth: The other predominant local language is German. Many towns in the region are known by two different names.

Get around[edit]

Outside the bigger cities and towns, there are some interesting castles to be seen.

  • Castello di Stenico. A solid 13th-century castle.
  • Castel Beseno. Built in 12th century but significantly altered and enhanced later.

  • Trekking in the Dolomites.

This region travel guide to Trentino is an outline and may need more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. If there are Cities and Other destinations listed, they may not all be at usable status or there may not be a valid regional structure and a "Get in" section describing all of the typical ways to get here. Please plunge forward and help it grow!
