Who am I?

I travel to some fairly unusual places though my work. I am self employed and my work is broadcast engineering. This means setting up radio and TV transmitters, studios and satellite earth stations. My customers include commercial operators, the BBC World Service and some governments. I received an electronics engineering degree from Imperial College, London and I previously worked for a radio equipment manufacturer in the UK.

Where I have been

I have ongoing work in Afghanistan and Sierra Leone. Other countries/states I have worked in or visited recently Mozambique, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Nigeria, Lebanon, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Slovenia, Kenya, Kazakhstan, Finland, Nepal, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Romania, Bangladesh, Israel, West Bank, Cambodia, Gambia, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Yemen, Tunisia, Rwanda and Ethiopia.

I have regular work in Afghanistan and Sierra Leone.
