I travel around setting up broadcast radio transmitters for organisations like the BBC. That usually takes me to developing and particualrly 'post conflict' countries. I have just seen your comments on Freetown - fair enough! I am learing this wiki thing. I hope this is right way to reply to your questions! I have just arrived in Tashkent which is holiday, so I started a page for that. I usually have net access where I go, so I play with the pages when I am bored. I'll have to spend some time reading the help pages!

War zone safety

It's pretty simple... follow this link, which will then give you the option to either sign in if you've already got a username over on shared, or create a new one... or easier still, follow the link on that page for "Open ID" where you can login using your English username. Well the teavelling can be good. It often has low points though, usually when visiting Afghanistan! I was married last year, so travelling has lost a little of its appeal. I am in Bangladesh at the moment, which is quite nice. (WT-en) Davidbstanley 22:07, 9 May 2007 (EDT)

I am afraid I have not been to either! My visit here has been so busy, I have been visiting a different city each day and have not seen very much apart from the work visits I am doing. I was in Chittagong yesterday, somewhere in the North West tomorrow. As for Band-e Amir, I have not been there. I want to go the first time I went to Bamiyan in 2002, but could not manage it. A friend went camping up there last year and said it was a good few days.
