Changsha is the capital city of Hunan Province in China, alias Star City, located in the middle of Yangtze River (Yangtze River) in southern China, the west of Changliu Basin in the lower reaches of Xiangjiang River in eastern Hunan Province, is the center of politics, economy, culture, science, education and transportation of Hunan Province. In 2015, the GDP (gross domestic product) of Changsha was about 850.1 billion yuan (¥13 trillion yuan), ranking sixth among provincial capitals in terms of comprehensive competitiveness.
