Welcome, and avoid using encyclopedic content[edit]

Hello 1eleven0086! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

If you are a Wikipedian, then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:

It may also be very useful for you to check out Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians. If you need help, take a look at Wikivoyage:Help, or else post a message in the Wikivoyage:Travellers' pub, as a reply below or on my talk page. Thanks for contributing!

Thanks for your edits to the Hezhou article, but can you please summarize them and avoid encyclopedic content uninteresting to travelers like this?

Zhoushi is located in the northeast of Guangxi, belonging to the subtropical monsoon climate zone. It has strong solar radiation, sufficient sunlight, abundant heat, mild climate, abundant rainfall, alternating drought and flood, hot summer and cold winter, and long frost free period. In the summer half year, southerly winds are prevalent, with high temperatures, high humidity, and stuffy and rainy weather; In the winter half year, northerly winds prevail, with a climate characteristic of low temperature and cold damage, dry and less rain. The annual average temperature (30-year average) ranges from 19.2 ℃ to 19.9 ℃, with an annual average sunshine duration of 1439.4 hours to 1588.7 hours, and an annual average precipitation of 1558.1 millimeters to 2012.1 millimeters. The main meteorological disasters include floods, droughts, cold waves, high temperatures, low temperature and cold damage (cold rain in spring, cold dew wind in late rice, frost and freezing), strong winds, hail, lightning, etc.

In 2016, the average annual temperature in Hezhou City ranged from 20.3 ℃ to 21.1 ℃, which was 0.3 to 0.9 ℃ higher than the previous average. Starting from March 5th, the daily average temperature in the city has steadily risen to over 12 ℃, about half a month earlier than the average date in previous years. The maximum daily temperature is ≥ 35 ℃, with 11 days in Fuchuan and 20-24 days in other counties (districts), which is a normal year; The annual sunshine hours range from 1277.1 hours to 1465.2 hours, which is 10-20% less than the average over the years; The annual rainfall ranges from 1932.1 millimeters to 2587.1 millimeters, which is about 50% more than the average over the years in Fuchuan and about 30% more in other counties (districts).

Again, summarize, provide a climate chart (unusually, at least ideally, the source for the chart should have a clickable citation - see star-level articles like Singapore for examples), and avoid overly exact figures about things like average sunshine duration.

Finally, have you been copying and pasting content in violation of the source site's copyright and this site's copyleft policy? If so, please stop! Instead, again, summarize, paraphrase, and give credit to your source in edit summaries that you type in the "Summary" box below your edit screen.

I'd like you to reply to this post, showing that you've read it, and please ask questions about anything that's not clear after you've read the links I've given you and my remarks above. Thanks and all the best,

Once again, there is so much boring encyclopedic content in this edit. You need to read Welcome, Wikipedians and goals and non-goals. I think that to save time, it is best to just revert the entire edit. Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:04, 24 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
See also Talk:Hezhou. I just reverted a lot more edits that added back stuff Ikan removed earlier. Pashley (talk) 15:10, 7 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Copying from other websites[edit]

While I'm glad you're trying to improve our coverage of Hezhou, it is very important that you do not copy from other websites without attribution. Please follow Ikan Kekek's advice above about how to follow Wikivoyage's copyleft policy. —Granger (talk · contribs) 15:17, 7 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
