I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (e.g. a "Mormon"). From February 2015 to February 2017, I lived in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, teaching people about Christ. I learned Spanish and a bit of some indigenous Mayan languages. I just got back, and now I'm studying Applied Mathematics and Linguistics at BYU in Provo, Utah.
I have a slight disgust for "touristy" places, and when I travel I prefer to spend time enjoying the natural sights and outdoor activities of the area, and getting to know actual people, actual language and actual culture.
I happen to be in love with Scandinavian culture, geography, and climate, and I want to live in Norway at some point. My family lived in Copenhagen from August 2014 to August 2015, although I was only there for about 3 months total.
