Bettada Bhairaveshwara Temple, Near hanbal, Sakleshpur

Bettada Bhairaveshwara temple, maragunda is next to Hosakere and is located in Karnataka, India. The Bhairaveshwara Temple which is around 700 years old near Hanbal in Sakleshpur. This temple is situated at a very high altitude it is situated in a very strategic position where it is surrounded by hills in all directions. The platform around the temple is constructed in such a way that people can go around the temple. It is constructed completely with stones including the tower and the crown (Kalasha). Rain water outlets have been provided at the roof of the temple. Towards the right are few plastic pipes which might have been provided recently, but towards the left you can see the stone-made rain water outlets.This region is known for its beautiful climate and scenic views. One can even enjoy the flowing peace of various waterfalls en route to Hosakere.
