Add topicHello! Welcome to Wikivoyage. If you want to specialize your experience you may want to consider editing your preferences. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to the whole wiki software look at the wiki markup to get an idea of how to use the wiki markup. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.
Thanks for your contributions to Jakarta. However, unfortunately we cannot use the Bluebird taxi image, which is copyrighted by Blue Bird. Everything on Wikivoyage must use a Project:Copyleft license! -- (WT-en) Jpatokal 02:15, 24 August 2006 (EDT)
- Never mind, the second image you uploaded looks OK — did you take it yourself, or where did you find it? (WT-en) Jpatokal 02:18, 24 August 2006 (EDT)
All the images you have uploaded will be deleted if you cannot provide a source clearly indicating that they are in the public domain. Please see Project:Votes for deletion. (WT-en) Jpatokal 03:14, 31 August 2006 (EDT)
You just uploaded an image which appears to have been taken from this website. If it is yours, please say so in the image summary; if you have permission from the owner, please also state this; if you do not have either please do not upload it as it does not comply with our copyright. I have voted this for deletion, so it will be deleted within 14 days if you do not say anything. Ask me if you don't understand whats happening. (WT-en) Tim 06:44, 3 September 2006 (EDT)
- And again for Image:Natmuseum.jpg. (WT-en) Jpatokal 06:34, 4 September 2006 (EDT)
- I'm not as patient as everyone else and have already deleted because it is a copyrighted image. You are not allowed to upload any coprighted images. All copyrighted images will be deleted quickly per the speedy deltetion policy if proper attribution/releases are not provided. -- (WT-en) Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 10:27, 5 September 2006 (EDT)
