Hello Davidx! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

Thanks for your edits in West Yorkshire. Please do not sign the articles with your user name or any other way. You are automatically given a credit at the bottom of a page after you edit it. Also, avoid using brackets [ ] -- use parens ( ) instead. Thanks. -- (WT-en) OldPine 11:34, 13 October 2007 (EDT)

Vernet-les-Bains[edit]

Hi, David. Please note that we do not generally reference information through other websites--particularly hotel, bar, nightclub, and restaurant listings. We want the Wikivoyage guide to be a printable, self-contained guide with recommendations (not necessarily a comprehensive listing). -- (WT-en) OldPine 11:38, 14 October 2007 (EDT)

Project:What is an article?[edit]

If you've not already seen them, you'll find the Project:What is an article? guidelines are well worth a look.

Viterbo: Palace of the popes[edit]

Hi. I moved the picture up and made it bigger since its the only picture on the page. Thought I'd let you know that you can use the px option to control the size of the picture.--(WT-en) Wandering 13:12, 30 October 2007 (EDT)

Photos and Wikivoyage Shared[edit]

If you upload your photos to Wikivoyage Shared (link at left), they can be then used by all language versions of Wikivoyage, including English (just as they are used now). Thanks. --(WT-en) OldPine 16:35, 2 November 2007 (EDT)

Hi David! I just replied at Talk:Cuzco#Get_out_section to your question. Would you please sign your entries on talk pages with the ~~~~ so it is easier to see where you started and end? Also we usually place new section on the bottom to have the replies in a chronical set? Thank you very much and have a great day, (WT-en) jan 13:11, 27 April 2010 (EDT)
