Hello Tally! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

If you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

Thanks for the welcome! (WT-en) Tally 15:33, 29 December 2007 (EST)

Milton (Florida)[edit]

Nice work on Milton! --(WT-en) Peter Talk 01:39, 16 January 2008 (EST)

Thank you! I'd like to get it to a guide article: it shouldn't be hard, there's not too much else there. Your maps are really good! I've been working on a map of downtown Pensacola, FL, for a week now and I've used yours and Mark Jaroski's maps as references on what one should look like. --(WT-en) Tally 14:14, 16 January 2008 (EST)
Cool, I'm looking forward to it! Let me know if you have any Inkscape questions. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 20:12, 16 January 2008 (EST)

Escambia County (Florida)[edit]

Follow up to our Pensacola discussion - Perdido Key also has a separate page, linked from the County. Maybe you could work on the County page, and see what other communities will need their own pages, since you obviously have a good knowledge of the area. I also created a (WT-en) Sandbox for you and copied your previous text there. (WT-en) gamweb 03:23, 6 September 2008 (EDT)

It looks to me like all the Escambia County destinations that have articles, already do now. Pensacola, Perdido Key, Pensacola Beach, and Century are the only distinct entities in Escambia county. All the other communities mentioned are just suburbs and districts of Pensacola. I'll see what I can do with the page. --(WT-en) Tally 03:42, 9 September 2008 (EDT)

Pensacola Map[edit]

Nice work on the Pensacola Map! I bumped that page up to Guide status on account of that. Please consider joining the Florida Expedition. Also, if you'd like to get involved making more maps we'd love to have your help on the main Florida regions.(WT-en) Jtesla16 00:45, 7 September 2008 (EDT)

Thanks! I don't think it's Guide status just yet (and it seems OldPine agrees) but I'm hoping to have it there by the end of the week. As for the Florida Expedition, I can help you guys with that, but I'm afraid I don't know too much outside of Santa Rosa and Escambia counties. --(WT-en) Tally 03:39, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
Don't worry about not being an expert on other cities, you can contribute in many other ways. Perhaps living in Pensacola give you some experiential knowledge of the Panhandle region. Also, deriving Florida region maps from the main Florida map doesn't require first hand knowledge of an area. Feel free to jump in anywhere you can. Lastly (and as always), we'd love to hear your input in discussions on Talk:Florida and Talk:Florida_Panhandle and . (WT-en) Jtesla16 19:13, 9 September 2008 (EDT)

Wow! Nice work you're doing on Pensacola! Ever consider trying to make it a star article? --(WT-en) Peter Talk 18:11, 10 September 2008 (EDT)

Pensacola Beach[edit]

Thanks, I appreciate your comment a lot. But I have minimal knowledge of Pensacola Beach (given the fact that's it's a small community anyways), so I encourage you to plunge forward and keep adding more. (WT-en) Jonathan_784 12:46, 9 October 2008 (EDT)

Just transplanted a LOT of information from the webpages and into the formerly empty Sleep section. But it's incomplete. If there's something you know that's not there, add it. (WT-en) Jonathan 784 22:09, 11 October 2008 (EDT)
