Hi Thrudur84! Thanks for your edits on La Serena, they are much appreciated!
I thought I'd just drop by and welcome you to Wikivoyage. If you want to specialize your experience you may want to consider editing your preferences.
It would be a very good idea to have a quick look at our list of tips for newcomers to get a feel for what we are trying to achieve on Wikivoyage, and if you're new to the whole wiki software, also look at the wiki markup to get an idea of how to use the wiki markup.

Guyana[edit]
Please do not copy anything from Wikipedia, the licenses are not compatible and they look terrible anyway. Use the Wikipedia templates. Also, ten regions for a country the size of Guyana is (IMHO) way too much... (WT-en) Jpatokal 02:12, 30 October 2009 (EDT)
Linking to Wikipedia articles[edit]
Your contributions of East Berbice-Corentyne, Demerara-Mahaica, Mahaica-Berbice, Pomeroon-Supenaam and Potaro-Siparuni appear to have been taken (copied) directly from Wikipedia. There is no need to do that, as you can link to a wikipedia page by adding [[Wikipedia:Wikipedia Article Name]] and you then have a Wikipedia link right on the page. Then you can add a template and write a real Wikivoyage article.
Also, if you are a Wikipedian then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:
- NPOV → be fair (not quite the same thing!)
- be bold → plunge forward
- Village pump → travellers' pub
- External links → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself.
- sandbox → graffiti wall
- stub notes → Article status notes
