User talk:125.24.4.216
Please do not change Washington, D.C. redirects. You're effectively creating double-redirects. I plan to arrange an all-out assault on D.C. later tonight and I will at that time fix the redirect pages. Thanks. -- (WT-en) Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 22:37, 9 July 2006 (EDT)
- Also, it's considered a bit impolite to edit other people's comments on a Talk page, even if you're not changing the words. Sometimes people link things for a specific reason, and changing that can change the implications of what they're trying to get across. In any case, it alters the "history" of a discussion, which can bother some people. - (WT-en) Todd VerBeek 22:48, 9 July 2006 (EDT)
User account
[edit]You've made some good edits why not start a user account and actually get real credit for the contributions you've made? -- (WT-en) Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 17:38, 13 July 2006 (EDT)
- It would be a big help for others here to recognize you and your edits. I for one give closer scrutiny to anonymous edits, since they're usually by newbies who don't know what they're doing, or by spammers. Creating an account and logging in would help to reassure me at a glance that your edits aren't among them. Finally, it's a lot nicer to have name for someone rather than just a number. - (WT-en) Todd VerBeek 15:42, 15 July 2006 (EDT)
Ko Samet
[edit]If you have a question about the status of Ko Samet, maybe you could bring it up on its talk page. It seems to me that it (barely) meets the criteria, but if you think otherwise, please explain why. - (WT-en) Todd VerBeek 23:35, 13 July 2006 (EDT)
Thanks & Disambiguation
[edit]Thanks for all of your work on disambiguations. You've probably read it, but if not then Project:Article naming conventions#Disambiguation (specifically #4) has the guidelines of when an article name gets the "Foo (disambiguation)" name versus when we just use "Foo" as the disambiguation page. Also, if you create a user account it will make it easier to identify your edits, although that's obviously up to you. Thanks! -- (WT-en) Ryan 15:39, 15 July 2006 (EDT)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
