It appears that you are marketing hotels, so please have a look at Wikivoyage's guidelines for marketers. In particular, make sure addresses you add are properly formatted and that the description field is used to describe the hotel, not what is near the hotel. If you have questions you can ask them on this talk page or in the Pub. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 11:26, 14 March 2012 (EDT)

As a matter of fact, I was not marketing hotels. I was just trying to contribute with what I know. I have a travel website and many times I look to Wikivoyage for information. I edited some hotel mistakenly identified as Best Western at the beginning, then I went on editing other stuff. —The preceding comment was added by (WT-en) Miguelstil (talkcontribs)
OK, thanks for responding. Wikivoyage gets a lot of edits from hotel marketing companies and have taken a fairly strict stance against edits that appear to be marketing-related. The additions you've made thus far don't actually describe the hotel, but always describe the hotel's proximity to other locations - that is generally discouraged, so if you have stayed at these hotels and can provide info about the hotel's amenities, atmosphere, service, etc it would be great. Thanks for your contributions. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 13:37, 14 March 2012 (EDT)

Understand. Do you want me to go back? For instance, in Brockton you have a hotel mistakenly identified as Holiday Inn (at 195 Westgate Drive). The real Holiday Inn is at 405 Westgate Drive. The one at 195 is Westgate Hotel and Conference Center. (talk)

Yes, feel free to make any changes needed, the only request I would make is what was mentioned already - if a hotel description is not about the hotel itself but is instead about the hotel's proximity to nearby attractions then it may raise some red flags among the regular editors. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 16:47, 14 March 2012 (EDT)
