Hello, Davidpuppulin! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.--ϒpsilon (talk) 11:50, 18 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

You may also want to look at welcome, business owners and don't tout for guidelines that may apply to you. Please note that the "alt" tab in hotel listings is for genuine alternate names, such as former names of hotels whose names have changed or the Chinese characters for the names of hotels in China, not for descriptions like "3 Star Hotel situated just a few steps from the sea" (which is also a bit touty-sounding - see Wikivoyage:Words to avoid for a criticism of imprecise expressions like "is steps away").
Thanks a lot.
All the best,

One other thing: A "Bed and Breakfast" category in the "Sleep" section of a guide is much less useful than putting the bed and breakfasts in the correct price category, but what's most helpful is to put actual rates in the "price" tab, so please do that. OK, after this edit, I must warn you that any hint of more touting will get your posting privileges blocked. You must read Welcome, business owners and Don't tout thoroughly. Do it now. Your edit has been reverted. Ikan Kekek (talk) 16:40, 9 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
