Hello, Matpen80! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.

Thanks for editing! However, before you turn every mention of anything interesting in the Paris guide into a templated listing, please have a look at Wikivoyage:Huge city article template. Huge, districted cities like Paris actually shouldn't normally have any templated listings: All of those should be in district (arrondissement) articles, with relatively brief summaries in prose in the Paris article.

All the best,

Thank you, noted. I will revert the change and move the templated listings to the district articles! Matpen80 (talk) 11:51, 29 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'm grateful for your flexibility. Ikan Kekek (talk) 18:01, 29 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As promised, I removed the templated listings from the main article "Paris", after making sure that the information they contained (eg. geographical coordinates) where present in the district articles. In a few cases I had to modify these as well. I hope that the changes are as intended! Matpen80 (talk) 15:04, 7 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. Everything looks right (with the caveat that I haven't checked your geo coordinates and assume they're right :-) ). Thank you! Ikan Kekek (talk) 15:11, 7 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Though actually, there is another way to handle the "See" section of the Paris article that would be even more in keeping with site guidelines: To turn it into unbulleted prose, with the names of the sights in bold. Ikan Kekek (talk) 15:13, 7 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
