Hello, welcome to Wikivoyage, and thanks for your edits so far!

I have some specific comments about Wikipedia links under "External links" below, but to go from the more general to the more specific: You may find it useful to look through Wikivoyage's tips for new contributors page, which is full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

If you would ever like any help, feel free to check out Project:Help, or post a message here or in the travellers' pub.

If you are a Wikipedian, or have previously used Wikipedia, then you may notice some differences in the style of our articles. These include:

  • "External links" → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself. Please note that except for same-subject Wikipedia links at the very end of articles (e.g., w:Jayapura for the Jayapura article) that appear on the left sidebar under "Related sites," Wikipedia links are not used on this site, and please edit accordingly.

Thanks again, and all the best,
