Hello, Mukulfaiz! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.

I'd like to explain why I reverted your addition of Bangalore to the list in the "Cities" section of South India: Wikivoyage style is that for regional articles that are further subdivided into smaller regions (or, indeed, in this case, nations), only 9 cities are listed. And since it's also customary to include capital cities of countries whenever there's room for them, inevitably, some very large and important cities in India and Pakistan have to be left out (including not only Bangalore but also Kolkata, Chennai and Lahore). That's quite alright because the India article has its own list of 9 cities, each region of India has its own, each state article has its own, and most Indian states also have their own regional articles.

I hope that makes sense, and that it's not too discouraging to experience your first reversion - all of us have work reverted sometimes. Thanks also for your work on Tranquebar and Pondicherry in 2014, for which you had yet to be thanked.

All the best,
