Hello and welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

If you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message here or in the travellers' pub.

As you are a Wikipedian, please note that there are some differences in the style of our articles. These include:

  • "External links" → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself.

In addition, please read what is an article, and when you start new articles, please use standard article templates, such as the small city and region article templates, and do not create or copy your own non-standard first-order subheadings.

Also, please note our policy on copyright: Though it is perfectly licit to copy non-encyclopedic, travel-related material from Wikipedia, it is considered a bad practice to copy entire articles or large swathes of them verbatim, and articles that do that are quite frequently deleted.

Thanks for contributing, and please ask any questions you like below, signing your username like this at the end of your message: ~~~~

All the best,

You're welcome. Thanks for reading up and integrating elements of Wikivoyage style into your edits so quickly — and most importantly, thanks for adding content! Ikan Kekek (talk) 14:35, 27 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
I'd like to ask you for a small favor: Please don't put a space before any form of punctuation. It's a small matter, but I have been deleting spaces you insert before periods and such. Where a space is needed is only after the punctuation (except for parentheses), not before it.
All the best, and please keep adding more content and photos!

Thanks I always make that mistakes, my spell checker also says that. --Pavithrans (talk) 12:19, 14 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
