Differences from Wikipedia

Hi, and thanks for starting an article on Gouqi Island. You'll want to look at Welcome, Wikipedians, Wikivoyage:External links, Wikivoyage:Links to Wikipedia and Wikivoyage:Small city article template for some useful guidelines on how to structure and continue going forward with the article. Region article templates aren't used for islands that are covered in a single article (that is, with no regional divisions on Wikivoyage, and links are not given to articles about regional divisions on other sites, including Wikipedia). Also, footnotes are not used on this site.

Don't worry if it takes you a while to get used to these aspects of Wikivoyage's house style; it took nearly all of us who preceded you here some time to get used to them, too, and we're here to help you if you ever want to call on us.
