Hello, Ricardo630! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.-Texugo (talk) 02:31, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Gramado, Nova Petrópolis, and Canela[edit]

Hi there. Thanks for trying to help with these, but by our map and subdivision scheme, these do actually belong in the Grande Porto Alegre region, which is defined by the official "Mesoregião Metropolitana de Porto Alegre", also known as Grande Porto Alegre. I am guessing that you speak Portuguese? If so, it is better to consult the city article on Wikipedia, which clearly states which mesoregion each city belongs to. Page banners[edit]

Hello Ricardo! I have seen you are busy creating page banners for Brazilian destinations. While your contributions are most welcome, in the page banners the width to height ratio of 7:1 is a required standard. You might get familiar with this and other rules, as well as useful tips for page banners here. Danapit (talk) 09:28, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bom dia Ricardo! Excellent work with the banners in Brazil. It is well needed and thank you for the effort. Brazil needs all the attention because it is such a big country. Regards, jan (talk) 09:42, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there. I also appreciate your enthusiasm for our Brazilian articles, but I have just reverted several of the banners you added because, as Danapit says above, they are the wrong size. Banners must have a 7:1 aspect ratio, preferable 2100px/300px or larger. (Your banners ranged anywhere from 3:1 to over 11:1.) Could you possibly crop the banners to the right size/shape and re-upload them? Thanks! Texugo (talk) 11:47, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Incidentally, please have a look at our Brazil Expedition if you haven't already. Cheers! Texugo (talk) 11:49, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
