Hello Serahisaac! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

If you are a Wikipedian then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:

It may also be very useful for you to check out Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians. If you need help, take a look at Wikivoyage:Help, or else post a message in the travellers' pub or on my talk page. Thanks for contributing!

Your edit to the "Cities" section of India was mostly reverted. The main reason for that is shown in the hidden text that you can see in edit mode at the beginning of India#Cities:

<!-- PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THIS LIST WITHOUT FIRST DISCUSSING ON THE TALK PAGE -->

I can't think of a good reason to substitute New Delhi for Delhi, but make your argument at Talk:India and see if you can persuade a consensus. If not, don't try changing the list again unilaterally.

As for the spelling of Bangalore, the Wikivoyage standard is to use the spelling that's most used in English, regardless of what the official spelling is. If you'd like to argue for a change in the way Wikivoyage spells the name of that city, please make an argument at Talk:Bangalore and try to persuade a consensus to agree with you.

Thanks a lot, and all the best,
